Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic on Friday stuck a dagger into the Minnesota Timberwolves to end Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Doncic twisted the knife a little extra for Rudy Gobert.

Doncic sank the go-ahead three-pointer with three seconds to lift the Mavs to a 109-108 win over the Timberwolves at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

Doncic drained the dagger triple with Gobert draped all over him. After the shot went in, Doncic proceeded to talk some serious trash to Gobert which was shown on the TNT broadcast.

Doncic finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists on 10-of-23 shooting from the field.

The Timberwolves led by as many as 18 points but let their lead slip away in the fourth quarter. Minnesota had a last-gasp shot from Naz Reid roll off the rim as time expired.

Reid was surprisingly the Timberwolves’ best player on the floor on Friday night. He contributed a team-high 23 points off the bench and connected on seven three-pointers. Reid was 7-of-8 from deep before missing his last attempt in the dying seconds.
