With seconds remaining in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Friday night, Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic drained a triple over Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.

High on the energy of moment, Doncic proceeded to give Gobert the business.

“Motherf—er! You can’t f—ing guard me!” Doncic appeared to say.

After the game, a somber Gobert explained what happened on the play and shouldered blame for the loss.

“We switched on the pick and roll. I was in iso. He hit a big shot. I let my team down on the last play. They believed in me to get a stop and he scored a three,” Gobert said, via Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

Gobert had a hand in Doncic’s face, but it simply wasn’t enough. The defense needed to be tighter given the score and situation, which Gobert readily acknowledges.

Now in a 0-2 hole, Gobert and the Timberwolves will look to bounce back in Game 3 on Sunday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
