Bronny James has remained a hot-button topic ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft for numerous reasons. His draft stock remains a great debate and one of the most intriguing headlines as the June 26 draft draws near.
But one thing that appears to be getting clear is that Bronny, the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, is narrowing down his list of teams he's interested in playing for.
On Tuesday, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported on FanDuel TV's "Run It Back" that James has "over 10 workout invites" but is only going to visit "a couple of those."
Who's on the list of the 2-3 teams Charania states Bronny will visit? None other than the Lakers and, interestingly, the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns hold the No. 22 overall pick in the draft, while the Lakers may have just the No. 55 selection. The Lakers could also retain their own No. 17 pick if the New Orleans Pelicans defer the selection until 2025, as it was a part of the Anthony Davis trade. Los Angeles will find out the Pelicans' decision about the pick on June 1.
If the Lakers keep their selection at No. 17, it's tough to envision Bronny falling beyond that spot. However, as Yardbarker's Colum Dell detailed, he believes that the Lakers could rank as one of the worst fits possible for the former USC guard.
"Los Angeles has few exciting young pieces, and its core's ceiling isn't high enough to go deep into the playoffs. Once LeBron wraps up his historic career, the Lakers could be one of the worst teams in the NBA for several seasons. The Lakers must start bringing in more young talent this offseason, but Bronny isn't a player to build the future around, especially for a franchise with championship expectations," Dell said.
The Lakers have numerous big decisions ahead this offseason, but if LeBron James' future is up in the air and Bronny is on the board when it's their pick, that may prove to be the toughest decision of them all.
