Doug Gottlieb lands his first transfer commitment for Green Bay

Doug Gottlieb is going to have one of the most interesting gigs in college basketball.

The long-time sports radio commenter was recently tabbed as the University of Wisconsin Green Bay's head basketball coach. That alone is a big deal for the former Oklahoma State star hooper, but interestingly enough, he's also planning on remaining on the airwaves while he coaches.

Gottlieb has had a national show for years on Fox Sports, and somehow, he's going to keep doing what while trying to lead the Phoenix to victory.

It will be interesting to see how that shakes out, but in the here and now, it appears as if the dual duties aren't impacting Gottlieb's ability to recruit.

It's being reported that Gottlieb has landed his first commitment via the transfer portal. Ironically enough, it's forward Isaiah Miranda, who played at Oklahoma State last season.

Miranda averaged just 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in three games last season for the Cowboys, but he does have a ton of potential at 7-foor-1, 220 pounds and as a former four-star recruit.

Gottlieb has unlocked the transfer portal. Now let's see if he can unlock Miranda.
