Watch: Orioles 1B Ryan Mountcastle blasts home run to center field

Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle cleared customs with his second home run against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night.

The five-year MLB vet blasted a solo shot 443 feet off Jays pitcher Bowden Francis in the top of the fifth inning as Baltimore easily won the second game of a four-game series with its AL East rival, 10-1.

Per Baseball Savant, Mountcastle's long bomb had an exit velocity of 108.1 mph and was his hardest-hit home run since April 28 and his longest of the season.

Mountcastle also hit a three-run blast in the top of the third inning and finished the game 2-for-5 at the plate.

This season, he has 10 home runs with .286/.325/.512 batting splits. Mountcastle has been on a tear since May 21. In his last 13 games, he's hitting .385 (20-for-52) with four home runs.

The Orioles (39-20) trail the first-place Yankees (43-19) in the AL East. They've won eight of their last 10, including the first two in their current series against the Blue Jays (28-32).

Toronto is scheduled to start Jose Berrios on Wednesday. Per Stathead, Mountcastle only has two career hits in 19 at-bats against Berrios, but both were home runs.
