Watch: Two-time MVP accomplishes incredible WNBA first

With a set of MVP awards and championship rings, Las Vegas Aces All-Star center A'ja Wilson has achieved virtually every feat imaginable during her career. That is, until she accomplished a WNBA first following a remarkable performance on Wednesday.

Wilson dominated in a 95-81 win over the Dallas Wings in the Commissioner's Cup, becoming the first player in league history to record 35 points or more, 10-plus rebounds and at least five steals in a single game.

She finished the night with 36 points, shooting 15-of-22 from the field, along with 14 rebounds and six steals.

Much of the focus in the WNBA world has been on Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, and rightfully so. But, in the meantime, Wilson has been lighting things up early in the season.

Wilson came into Wednesday's contest posting a double-double, recording 26.5 points and 12.5 rebounds through six games. Following her performance against the Wings, she's averaging 27.9 points and 12.7 boards, both career highs.

Meanwhile, the victory helped the Aces improve to 1-0 in the Commissioner's Cup and 5-2 overall, placing them a half-game back of the Minnesota Lynx (6-2) for the top spot in the Western Conference.
