Business is booming for Scottie Scheffler. The world’s best golfer added to his trophy case yet again Sunday with a win at the Memorial, his fifth of the season, and broke his own record for single-season earnings on Tour.
And the season is only halfway finished.
Currently, it seems there’s nothing Scheffler can’t do. He’s a new dad, a five-time winner on Tour this year and he’s now earned $24 million this season thanks to another $4 million from the Memorial.

Scheffler’s $24 million in earnings broke his own record of $21 million from last year. The record holder prior to that? Still Scheffler, who made $14 million in 2022. The rising purses of the PGA Tour over the past few seasons have coincided with Scheffler’s dominance. He’s now won five of his past eight starts, and has a total of 11 wins for his career.
Just how much is $24 million? It’s enough that Scheffler has made more than $1.8 million per start and nearly doubled up the next highest earner on Tour. Xander Schauffele currently ranks second in earnings at $12.4 million.
Even when he’s not winning, Scheffler is always hanging around near the top. This past weekend was his 11th consecutive tournament in which he finished inside the top-10. He also made history by becoming just the second golfer to win the Memorial, Players and Masters in the same season, joining Tiger Woods.
He now goes to the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 where he will be the overwhelming favorite as he aims for his first U.S. Open win. The tournament kicks off June 13.
