Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams looked like a No. 1 overall pick in his preseason debut.
The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner at USC led the Bears to two fields goals in his two drives, including one on a possession that began at Chicago's own 3-yard line.
His best throw came during his second drive when he found tight end Cole Kmet while throwing on the run.
Williams rolled out of the pocket to his right and pump-faked before connecting with Kmet for a 26-yard gain.
Caleb Williams is MONEY on the run.

Earlier, he evaded trouble by flipping a pass out to running back D'Andre Swift with a defender's hand in his face. Swift took the pass 42 yards for a first down.
Didn't take long for some Caleb Williams magic

Williams was selected by the Bears with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. Last season at USC, Williams played in 12 games and finished the season 266-of-388 (68.6%) passing for 3,633 yards (9.4 yards per attempt), 30 touchdowns and five interceptions.
His best plays on Saturday had shades of what made Williams one of college football's best and most exciting quarterbacks the past three seasons, first at Oklahoma (2021) and then USC (2022-23).
Last year against Colorado, Williams showed off his strong arm on this 71-yard touchdown to wide receiver Tahj Washington while throwing on the run.

During his Heisman-winning 2022 season (also against Colorado), he pulled a rabbit out of his hat on this flip to former Trojans running back Austin Jones.
Caleb Williams... sheesh. No-look flip!

Williams finished his first NFL preseason game 4-of-7 for 95 yards. It was a positive start, with the former college star picking up where he left off at USC.
