Watch: A'ja Wilson caps off chaotic finish with buzzer-beater to lift Aces over Sky

The WNBA game of the weekend — and perhaps even the season —  was in Chicago on Sunday where the Las Vegas Aces escaped with a 77-75 win over the Sky.

Las Vegas superstar A'ja Wilson's last second buzzer-beater was the difference as she took an in-bound pass with only 1.1 seconds remaining on the clock and hit an off-balance shot for the winning points.

That shot alone is incredible, but it was only a small part of how chaotic and thrilling the finish was.

The only reason the game was even tied at that point was because the Sky nearly pulled off a miraculous comeback by erasing a 13-point deficit with under five minutes to play in the fourth quarter. The Aces still held a six-point lead with under 30 seconds to go until Chicago's Chennedy Carter hit two three-point shots, including this incredible game-tying shot with just 1.1 seconds remaining on the clock.

Any momentum that might have been built off of that shot was short-lived as Wilson hit her game-winner coming out of the next timeout.

The loss drops the Sky to 11-18 on the season as they continue to cling to the eighth and final playoff spot in the WNBA. Las Vegas improves to 18-11 and is just a half-game back of the No. 4 spot in the league.
