The Oakland A's are not going to win a lot of games this season and their future remains a mess due to the ownership situation and relocation to Las Vegas. But they do have some talented young players who are starting to make names for themselves in the major leagues.
Outfielder Lawrence Butler is one of those players.
On Thursday, Butler clubbed three home runs against the Cincinnati Reds, including a game-tying homer in the top of the ninth inning. Any three-homer game is notable, but this one is even more notable because it is Butler's second three-home run game of the season. He also accomplished the feat on July 14 against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Here is his third home run on Thursday.

The bad news for Butler and the A's? They ended up blowing a 9-7 lead in the bottom of the ninth inning for a 10-9 loss. That drops them to 58-76 for the season.
