Jets HC Robert Saleh makes huge admission regarding Haason Reddick

With San Francisco 49ers star offensive tackle Trent Williams ending his holdout, New York Jets pass-rusher Haason Reddick is now the only player still staying away from his team amid a desire for a contract extension or trade.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh admitted to reporters on Tuesday just how bad things have gotten with the new acquisition, telling them it's been well over one month since he's talked with Reddick.

The two-time Pro Bowler surpassed $1M in total fines in early August and the money lost has only grown since then.

Gang Green begins the regular season on "Monday Night Football" against the 49ers and if Reddick misses that contest, the fines will continue to increase.

While the linebacker's future with New York appears dicey at best (before it has even started), Saleh has been trying his hardest to keep calm during the saga.

For at least the second time on Tuesday, Saleh said that if Reddick does report to the team, he'll be welcomed with open arms.
