It's time for my Jets vs. 49ers prediction for "Monday Night Football."
Rodgers is back with a potentially stacked Jets offense starring Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson. They'll face off against the 49ers' juggernaut offense, featuring Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and the newly extended Brandon Aiyuk.
No matter what game you're looking for, Action Network goes deep on ALL the key NFL matchups at their NFL betting hub, where you'll find the odds, picks and predictions you need to win!

Defensively, both the Jets and 49ers have elite units that finished top four in DVOA last season. Offensively, both teams have significant question marks.
For the Jets, the question is how effective can Aaron Rodgers be returning from an Achilles injury at age 40? In Rodgers' last full season in 2022, he posted a 91.1 passer rating and a 41.3 QBR, both career lows since he became a starter in 2008.
Rodgers has also struggled at times agains the 49ers' defensive line. The last time he faced them was in the Jan. 22, 2022 Divisional Round game, and he took five sacks while passing for just 225 yards with no touchdowns.
The 49ers have questions of their own. While they were able to come to terms with left tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk at the 11th hour, Williams hasn't practiced with the team much, and Aiyuk will reportedly be on a pitch count.
Even if Williams is Williams, the rest of the 49ers' offensive line is shaky. Left guard Aaron Banks was limited in practice all week and is questionable with a finger injury. Right guard Dominick Puni is a third-round rookie making his first career start. Center Jake Brendel was strong as run blocker last season, but earned a pass-blocking grade of just 45.3 from PFF (30th of 36 qualified centers). The same is true for right tackle Colton McKivitz, whose 58.3 pass-blocking grade ranked 66th of 81 qualified tackles.
In addition to both defenses having the upper hand, both teams tend to play at an extremely slow pace.
According to FTN, the 49ers were last in seconds between snaps in 2023 (28.4), and Rodgers' Packers were dead last in 2022 (29.2).
Per our Action Labs data, Primetime unders are 155-105-3 (60%) over the past five seasons, covering by 1.6 points per game.
Pick: Under 43.5 (to 43)
