The Cleveland Browns (0-1) travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars (0-1) in Week 2. Both teams are looking to bounce back after beginning their 2024 campaigns with losses.
Here are three Browns who could impact the game the most:
Quarterback Deshaun Watson
Watson always impacts games, but more times than not, it's been in a negative way.
Since joining Cleveland in 2022, Watson has thrown for just 2,386 yards, 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 13 games.
His struggles continued in Week 1, passing for only 169 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the 33-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
That has led many to begin debating whether the Browns should turn to backup quarterback Jameis Winston. Another poor showing could influence them to do just that.
Running back Jerome Ford
With star running back Nick Chubb still on injured reserve, Cleveland will rely on Ford to lead its backfield once again.
The former fifth-round pick didn't have the performance he or the team was hoping for in Week 1, rushing for just 44 yards and one touchdown.
However, as long as Watson and the passing offense continue to underwhelm, the Browns will have to rely on their run game.
Things won't get much easier this week, as the Jaguars allowed the seventh-fewest rushing yards (81) in the league in Week 1, but Ford figures to be a key part of the game plan, nonetheless.
Edge rusher Myles Garrett
The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year picked up right where he left off, registering two tackles (one for a loss), one sack, one quarterback hit and one forced fumble in Week 1.
That should remain true this week after quarterback Trevor Lawrence was sacked three times by the Miami Dolphins defensive line last week.
Jacksonville did start the game fast, going up 17-7 at halftime, but Garrett can prevent that from happening again by making his presence felt early and often.
