Veteran running back Austin Ekeler has absolutely been a star in the NFL.
He's nearing 30 now, though, and he's no longer with the Los Angeles Chargers, where he made a name for himself since being being originally picked up as an undrafted free agent out of Western Colorado in 2017.
He's now a member of the Washington Commanders, and while may not be the stat-sheet-stuffer (and fantasy football star) he once was, Ekeler proved on "Monday Night Football" against the Cincinnati Bengals that he still has "it".
Check out this beautiful 24-yard scamper early in the second quarter of the game:

As ESPN noted, that was a vintage Austin Ekeler run.
He's always been a pinball of sorts, and he possesses the dynamic ability to both be tough between the tackles but absolutely deadly in open space with his speed.
In seven years with the Chargers, Ekeler rushed for 4,355 yards and 39 touchdowns while also adding 3,884 yards and 30 touchdowns through the air.
He's now officially on the board with the Commanders, as this was his first touchdown of the 2024 season.
