It was a banner night for New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu, literally.
In a pivotal moment against the Atlanta Dream, with a trip to the WNBA semifinals on the line, Ionescu had the game of her life.
She dropped 36 points, which was a playoff career high, but she also added nine assists and three steals in what was ultimately a virtuoso performance.
There were times when she looked like vintage Steph Curry, or perhaps current-day Caitlin Clark, with the way she pulled up from deep and splashed in three-pointers, hitting 5-of-11 from downtown. Ionescu was truly everywhere for the Liberty, though, whether it was driving the line or finding her teammates for open looks.
It looked like this:

The Liberty will face either the Las Vegas Aces or the Seattle Storm in the next round of the WNBA playoffs.
