The 2024 Presidents Cup teed off Thursday at The Royal Montreal Golf Club. Early fireworks between USA's Scottie Scheffler and South Korea's Tom Kim accompanied the event.
The extracurriculars began when Kim sank a lengthy birdie putt on the seventh green, barked in celebration and pumped his fist multiple times with the world's top-ranked men's golfer in his vicinity.
Scheffler then responded by drilling his own impressive birdie putt from a distance and immediately turned to Kim, yelling, "WHAT WAS THAT?!"

The 22-year-old, who tied for second at last year's Open Championship, is paired with fellow South Korean Sungjae Im on the international squad. They're facing Scheffler and 35-year-old American Russell Henley.
Scheffler and Henley won the first and sixth holes ahead of the drama on hole No. 7 before Im and Kim gained one point back on No. 8. The groups tied eight of the first 11 holes.
