Could Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams soon be leaving Las Vegas?
On Tuesday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported the Raiders are "growing open to the idea" of dealing Adams before the trade deadline on Nov. 5. He added they're already calling teams to determine interest in the 31-year-old.
More on this to come: A league source with knowledge of the situation confirmed that the @Raiders are growing open to the idea of trading Davante Adams. The source said the club has begun reaching out to teams to gauge interest in the veteran wide receiver.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report that the star wide receiver has told the Raiders that "he preferred to be traded."

A hamstring injury sidelined Adams during the Raiders' 20-16 Week 4 win over the Cleveland Browns. On a Monday episode of the "Fantasy Dirt" podcast, Sports Illustrated's Michael Fabiano said Adams was healthy, but he has likely played his last snap with the Raiders because they plan to trade him. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the team would "consider" trading Adams "for a package that would include a second-round pick and additional compensation."
On a Tuesday episode of FanDuel's "Up & Adams," the wideout indicated he's unsure whether he'll play in Sunday's road game against the Denver Broncos and addressed trade rumors.

Adams: "All I can control is the next thing I'm on to." @tae15adams @heykayadams pic.twitter.com/sWU873ha8B
"All I can control is the next thing I'm on to," Adams said. "I'm gonna get up in a minute and go get a nice workout in, and that's all I can control."
In three seasons with Vegas, Adams has 221 receptions for 2,869 yards and 23 touchdown catches. The Raiders, however, have failed to make the playoffs.
Vegas is 2-2, but it may miss the postseason for a third consecutive season. ESPN's Football Power Index gives them a 25.7% chance to make the playoffs, the second worst in the AFC West behind the Broncos (21%).
Trading Adams could help the Raiders land more draft capital and rebuild. Additionally, OverTheCap.com estimates the move would result in $17.5M in cap savings.
One WR-needy team that may be interested in the three-time first-team All-Pro is the New York Jets. Adams played with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers for eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers from 2014-21. The WR previously hinted he would be interested in a reunion.
"If I were to be reunited with anybody, it would be with Aaron," he said in July on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast.
The Jets (2-2) may have enough cap space to make room for Adams, who is in the third year of a five-year, $140M deal. Per OverTheCap.com, New York has approximately $16.8M in cap room.
Whether the Jets trade for Adams or not, expect his name to keep popping up in trade rumors.
