With a 150-77-1 career regular-season record and only three under-.500 campaigns, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn't used to losing.
After an ugly 10-9 loss against the Denver Broncos at home in Week 4, Gang Green enters Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings (4-0) at 2-2.
The host Vikings are favored in Week 5, but recent history shows that Rodgers may be in line for a big-time performance that could get New York back on track.
The last 4 times his team scored <10 points, this is how Aaron Rodgers responded the next week:

Week 10 2022 vs DAL: W 31-28 (3 TD:0 INT, 146.7 rating)
Week 2 2022 vs CHI: W 27-10 (2:0, 131.1)
Week 2 2021 vs DET: W 35-17 (4:0, 145.6)
Week 13 2019 vs NYG: W 31-13 (4:0, 125.4)
While a 13:0 touchdown-to-interception ratio, four passer ratings of at least 125.4 and a 4-0 record following his last contests scoring fewer than 10 points is promising, there are reasons why Rodgers and company may not have as much success this time.
Thanks largely to his one-game 2023 debut season with the Jets that was limited to four snaps, each of the last four times Rodgers' squad scored fewer than 10 points came during his career with the Green Bay Packers.
Whether he'll admit it or not, the four-time MVP is a different player than he was in 2019, 2021 (when he won his last award) and even 2022. Each of those campaigns came before Rodgers turned 40 and, more importantly, before his season-ending torn Achilles in Week 1 vs. the Buffalo Bills last year.
Even if the 10-time Pro Bowler has one of his vintage efforts, the Jets face a steep task in slowing down the biggest surprise team of the first quarter of the season.
The Vikings offense has been led by signal-caller and MVP candidate Sam Darnold and is the fourth-highest-scoring unit in the league (29.0 points per game). Fourth-year linebacker Patrick Jones II is having a breakout year, ranking tied for third in the NFL in sacks (team-leading 5.0). Minnesota has paired its No. 4 offense with a fourth-ranked defense (14.8 points allowed per game) under coordinator Brian Flores.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell and offensive coordinator Wes Phillips have Darnold playing the best football of his career, as the former third overall pick leads the NFL in touchdown passes (11) and passer rating (118.9).
One of Darnold's most impressive outings of September came in the team's Week 2 upset of the San Francisco 49ers (his 2023 squad) when he went 17-of-26 for 268 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception while adding five carries for 32 yards.
Now, with another "revenge game" on tap, the former Jets first-rounder has a chance to stay undefeated and put his original team back under .500.
