Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed added another deep touchdown to his resume on "Monday Night Football."
In the second quarter against the Chiefs, Shaheed scored on a 43-yard pass from quarterback Derek Carr.

The score pulled New Orleans (2-2) within three of Kansas City (4-0) after it fell into an early 10-0 hole.
The Saints moved the ball well on their first drive before Chiefs safety Bryan Cook made an impressive one-handed interception on a poor throw by Carr intended for Shaheed.

Per New Orleans Times-Picayune Saints reporter Luke Johnson, the touchdown was Shaheed's ninth of at least 40 yards since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
That is the 9th touchdown of 40-plus yards in Rashid Shaheed's career, counting returns. He's very fun.

He scored a 59-yard touchdown in the Saints' 2024 opener against the Panthers and followed that with a 70-yard touchdown in Week 2 against the Cowboys.
Shaheed's explosive contributions were sorely missed in New Orleans' back-to-back losses to the Eagles and Falcons in Weeks 3 and 4.
While the Saints have work to do to erase their deficit to the Chiefs, Carr's ability to find Shaheed is a reminder of how quickly New Orleans can get back into a game.
