This offseason, the Titans signed Pollard — a former Dallas Cowboys star — to a three-year, $21.75M deal to help replace star RB Derrick Henry. Tennessee let the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year sign with the Baltimore Ravens in free agency.
While Pollard isn't on the same tier as Henry, he looks like a solid addition thus far. In his first four games with the Titans, he rushed for 246 yards and two TDs on 61 carries.
Pollard showing he can continue to be a reliable option is pivotal for Tennessee (1-3).
Titans second-year quarterback Will Levis was erratic in his first four starts, throwing more interceptions (six) than TDs (four). A strong ground game should help him navigate through these growing pains.
