This week is the start of the Round of 8 for the NASCAR Playoffs. Christopher Bell feels like a win is around the corner, too. While Bell has never won at Las Vegas, he believes the time may have come to finally get that checkered flag.
During the season, Christopher Bell has picked up wins at Phoenix, Charlotte, and New Hampshire. In the last eight races, he has seven top-10s, five of which are top-5 finishes.
On NASCAR Inside the Playoffs, Bell talked about the Round of 8. He has wins at Martinsville and Homestead, so why does he think Las Vegas is his best chance to win a race in this round?
“So, I feel like we’re capable of scoring points at all of them which is super important,” Bell explained. “But honestly, I’ve won at Homestead and I’ve won at Martinsville but those are two of the race tracks that I’d say are less [likely to win] than Vegas. You know, Vegas, I haven’t won it yet but I feel like that’s one of our best tracks and definitely a place where we’re capable of competing for the win and I think that first Vegas win is right around the corner.”
What is the one thing holding him back? Homestead.
“So, we have a glaring weakness and I think it’s more on myself than the team,” Bell said. “But for some reason, long run at Homestead, that has been my Achilles heel since I got into the sport.”
The Round of 8 tracks are good to @CBellRacing. Which one does he think is his best shot at a win?

Is this the year that Christopher Bell becomes a champion?
We have seen in both 2022 and 2023 that Christopher Bell is built for the moment. Back against the wall, needing a win, he can get the job done. When the lights are the brightest, he usually steps it up.
However, we have also seen him have issues at Phoenix. Last year, it was nothing that he did. But his car’s brakes exploded early in the race and made it a three-driver championship at that point.
So, can Bell put together a postseason run that includes a good race at Phoenix? It is a track that he has performed so well at over the last few years. When the championship has been on the line, he has come up short.
Christopher Bell has a chance to win his way to Phoenix for the third straight year. He believes that the path is through Las Vegas. Will he get the job done or have to rely on points or another walk-off win at Martinsville to advance?
