Meet the player who's already won a World Series ring this year

Taylor Trammell will be happy with any outcome in this year's World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees.

The 27-year-old outfielder is guaranteed to receive a championship ring having spent time on the active rosters of both teams this season.

Trammell played in five games for each Los Angeles and New York but was sent back down to the minors for the remainder of the year.

He went 0-for-6 with three strikeouts in Los Angeles before being designated for assignment and then claimed by New York, where he hit a single in his only at bat.

Prior to this year, Trammell spent three seasons as a member of the Seattle Mariners where he played a total of 116 games as a prospect.

He slashed .168/.270/.368 in 304 at bats in Seattle, scoring 45 runs and driving in 39 more. He was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2016 MLB Entry Draft.

Trammell is still technically a member of the Yankees organization, albeit his status is that of a minor leaguer. But he'll be receiving some championship hardware one way or another. It's just a matter of time before we all find out which logo will be on it.
