The Detroit Lions are on a roll and their dynamic offense has been a big part of that success, but the team will be without one of its top wideouts for its next two contests.
Wide receiver Jameson Williams was slapped with a two-game suspension by the league for violating its Performance Enhancing Substance (PES) policy. ESPN's Eric Woodyard was the first to report the punishment.
Williams released a statement Monday night telling Woodyard he's disappointed but has "no choice but to take it on the chin."

"I'm in good spirits, just ready to get back with my brothers ASAP soon as possible," Williams said.
This is Williams' second suspension in three seasons. He was suspended for six games in 2023, reduced to four, for violating the league's gambling policy — something he later admitted he "wasn't aware" of.
The third-year player out of Alabama is Detroit's No. 2 pass catcher behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and has posted a career-high 361 yards and three touchdowns so far this season.
Williams, drafted No. 12 overall in 2022, has been a critical component in Detroit's offense, accruing 22.4 percent of quarterback Jared Goff's total passing yardage (1,610).
Williams will be available to return to the lineup on Nov. 10 when the team travels to play the Houston Texans.
