Packers QB Jordan Love leaves with injury against Jaguars

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered an injury during his team’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Love was seen limping before he headed to the sideline early in the second half at Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. He was banged around by a couple of defenders after throwing a pass and seemed to be in pain as he hobbled off the field.

It is unclear if Love suffered the injury on that play or earlier in the game. He was also seen favoring one leg after he rolled out and threw a pass during the first half.

Malik Willis replaced Love following the health concern and the Packers eventually ruled Love out with a groin injury.

Love missed time earlier in the season with a sprained MCL, so there was speculation that the latest injury may have had something to do with that. It appears the groin injury is a new issue, however.

Love was 14/22 for 196 yards and an interception prior to exiting on Sunday. He had been playing well with 13 touchdowns in four games since returning from his MCL injury.
