JJ Redick, the self-professed "sicko" and "neurotic" head coach of the Lakers, has confirmed a story that only furthers his reputation of being obsessed with all things basketball.
Shortly before the Lakers improved to 3-0 on Saturday, former Warriors star Baron Davis revealed he ran into Redick at a car wash where he noticed the Lakers coach was busy studying film on his laptop.

Following the Lakers' win over the Kings, Redick said the circumstances of the back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday forced his hand to take his work to a car wash.
"It's the circumstance of the back-to-back," Redick said via ESPN. "Basically, I spent last night and this morning on tying the bow from last night's game and a little bit looking forward to today. This morning, it was no different."
The player-turned-coach admitted it wasn't "normal" behavior on his part.
"Very efficient use of time. I watch a lot of film, but that's not normal, no. Thanks, Baron," he added.
Redick's obsessions with in-game details and Xs and Os have held the Lakers in good stead thus far. With back-to-back wins over the Suns and Kings, the Lakers (3-0) have gotten off to their best start since the 2010-11 season. Furthermore, Redick's spotless start has made him the most successful Lakers debutant coach since Bill Sharman in 1971-72.
Impressively, the Lakers wiped off large deficits (22 versus Suns, 15 versus Kings) to register back-to-back wins against two Western Conference foes. It's been a stark contrast to last year when the Lakers routinely struggled to close out games in the fourth quarter.
After three consecutive home wins, the Lakers will begin an 11-day road trip featuring five games against the Suns, Cavaliers, Raptors, Pistons and Grizzlies. They face the Suns on Monday night.
