It seems the Dallas Cowboys have reached their breaking point.
After losing 30-24 to the San Francisco 49ers (4-4) on "Sunday Night Football," Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs confronted WFAA-TV's Mike Leslie for a tweet he made early in the third quarter.
Leslie reposted a video of 49ers tight end George Kittle's 43-yard catch on a 1st-and-10 at Dallas' 49-yard line and seemed to question Diggs' effort on the play.

"Out of that whole play, that's what you took from that?" Diggs said to Leslie outside the visiting locker room in full uniform, per The Athletic's Saad Yousuf. "You don't know football. You can't do nothing that I do. You can't go out there and do nothing. Stay in your lane, buddy."
Diggs has underperformed through his first seven games. According to Pro Football Focus, he has posted a below-average 51.4 grade.
The Cowboys (3-4) are also failing to meet expectations. ESPN's Football Power Index gives Dallas an 11.8% chance to make the playoffs, the second worst in the NFC East behind the New York Giants (2-5).
During his postgame news conference, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott admitted the team is frustrated about the slow start, but it's trying to stay positive.
"It's frustrating, but nobody is giving up, and nobody is shook from where we're at," Prescott said, per Patrik Walker of the team website. "We've just gotta focus up and go back on the road, and we've got another good team coming up. We've gotta make sure we come out with a victory, get even [in the record], and then we'll worry about after that — after this next road game."
Dallas, however, may be entering the most challenging portion of its schedule. The Cowboys opponents over their next four games (the Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans and Washington Commanders) are a combined 22-9.
In Week 9, the Cowboys face Atlanta on the road. As of Monday, ESPN Bet lists the Falcons (5-3) as a 2.5-point favorite.
Diggs lashing out at Leslie shows Dallas has already lost some of its composure, which could be one reason it may continue to spin out of control.
