It took all of one week for Luka Doncic to get back into midseason trash-talking form.
Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks led the Minnesota Timberwolves, 114-109, with just over a minute left in Tuesday’s contest at Target Center in Minneapolis. With the shot clock winding down, Doncic stepped back for a 35-footer that everyone in the building knew was going in.
After Doncic made the shot, he immediately turned his attention toward a Timberwolves fan sitting courtside. The Mavericks star made sure to put the heckler in his place.

Doncic was struggling mightily before hitting the biggest shot of the game. The dagger over Nickeil Alexander-Walker was his lone three-pointer made on Tuesday after missing his first seven attempts.
The Slovenian finished with 24 points on 10-of-27 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and nine assists. His co-star Kyrie Irving carried most of the scoring load with 35 points on a 13-of-23 shooting clip.
Doncic was not exactly friendly with Timberwolves fans during his last few visits to Target Center. When the Mavs and T-Wolves faced off in the Western Conference Finals, Doncic was routinely chirping with fans throughout the series.
