If the Buffalo Bills have a concern somewhere on their roster it might be the consistency of kicker Tyler Bass. He entered Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins making just 80% of his field goals, while also missing two extra points.
He continued that inconsistency by missing another extra point against the Dolphins and getting a lucky bounce off the upright on another.
The good news for Bass is that he may have bought himself a little extra time later in the game by absolutely drilling a game-winning, 61-yard field goal to lift the Bills to a 30-27 win over the Dolphins.

That is what you call redemption. It ended a thrilling second half that saw the two teams combine for seven consecutive scoring drives.
It also continues to show just how advanced the kicking game has come in the NFL in recent years. It used to be, not even 20-25 years ago, that the thought of a 61-yard field goal was unheard of. Now we have them on an almost weekly basis. NFL kickers are also making them look remarkably easy.
The Bills improve to 7-2 and extend their lead in the AFC East, while the Dolphins are 2-6 and quickly letting whatever slim playoff chances they might have had slip away from them. The Dolphins visit the Los Angeles Rams next week while the Bills play the Indianapolis Colts.
