The American Athletic Conference now knows which two teams will face off Dec. 6 in its championship game.
No. 25 Tulane (9-2) obliterated Navy 35-0 to clinch second place in the conference, the first time the Midshipmen have been shut out at home since 2012.
With the win, the Green Wave secured the opportunity to face undefeated No. 24 Army (9-0), likely at West Point.

The Black Knights were idle in Week 12, but both squads now have just two games remaining.
If the two teams win out, the victor on Dec. 6 could qualify for the final conference champion auto-bid to the 12-team College Football Playoff.
Currently, both AAC contenders sits behind Mountain West leader No. 13 Boise State (8-1) in the committee's rankings due to strength of schedule.
A lot can still change between now and the end of November, including Army potentially adding a signature win over No. 8 Notre Dame (8-1) in Week 13.
This will be the third consecutive year Tulane will play for a conference title, looking for its first since 2022.
Army was an FBS independent for 18 seasons (2005-23) and will be looking for its first conference championship of any kind in program history.
The Black Knights competed briefly as part of Conference USA from 1998-2004, the only break in their independent stature, which began in 1890.
