Watch: Peyton Manning takes funny jab at Jerry Jones

Peyton Manning took a humorous jab at Jerry Jones on Wednesday night.

Manning was a host at the Country Music Association Awards along with Luke Bryan and Lainey Wilson. The event took place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., and Peyton got in a funny zinger on Jones.

Wilson had said that “cowboys cry, too.” That led to Manning’s zinger — “but enough about Jerry Jones.”

Manning had a great face after delivering the line, while many people in the audience laughed.

Jones, who has owned the Dallas Cowboys since 1989, has had a lot of reasons to cry this season. His team is 3-7 and Dak Prescott is out for the year due to an injury.

After three straight 12-5 seasons, this is not what anyone expected from the Cowboys. It’s OK to shed a few tears.
