Eagles to be without top offensive player in Week 12

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without one of their top offensive players for Sunday night’s Week 12 game at the Los Angeles Rams.

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith has not practiced all week for Philly due to a hamstring injury. On Friday, the Eagles listed Smith as out for Sunday’s game.

Smith has been dealing with a hamstring injury all month, though he played in all of the team’s games during that span until now. He had just 2 catches for 14 yards in a Week 10 win over the Cowboys. He had 4 catches for 29 yards in a Week 11 win over the Commanders, where he re-injured his hamstring. Smith has 41 catches for 516 yards and 4 touchdowns this season.

Considering Smith did not practice all week, it’s not a surprise that Philly listed him as inactive for Sunday.

The Eagles are 8-2 and have won six games in a row. The Rams are 5-5 and have won four of their last five games, so it’s a contest between two teams that are playing well.

While the Eagles will be down one of their best passing-game threats, the Rams finally have both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua in the lineup, which has been yielding big results.
