In all of Arkansas' four previous victories this season, stretches of sloppy play have marred solid performances by John Calipari's first team in Fayetteville.
That wasn't the case on Monday, as No. 19 Arkansas (5-1) took down Maryland-Eastern Shore (2-7) by a final score of 109-35.
The margin of victory is the biggest for Arkansas since it beat Mississippi Valley State 142-62 in November 2020.
All of Arkansas' starters finished in double digits, but it was Karter Knox (21 pts) who led the Razorbacks in scoring when the final buzzer sounded.
Arkansas got out to a 9-0 lead to start the game, and at one point had a 28-0 run lift its advantage to 47-8. The Razorbacks led 60-15 at halftime.
Calipari and Co. didn't let off the gas in the second half, with Arkansas' lead swelling to as many as 74 points with six minutes to play. A three-point shot from D.J. Wagner pushed Arkansas to the century mark and to a 100-26 lead.
Wagner, (13 pts) Johnell Davis, (16 pts) Zvonimir Ivisic (14 pts) and Knox all made at least three shots from beyond the arc.
Jose Cuello and Ketron Shaw led the way for the Hawks with seven points each.
The Razorbacks will face Illinois on Thanksgiving Day in Kansas City. They will then travel to Miami on Dec 3., taking on the Hurricanes in the SEC/ACC challenge. The Hogs' next game inside Bud Walton Arena will be on Dec. 7 vs UTSA.
