Auburn vs. Alabama, also known as the Iron Bowl, is one of the fiercest rivalries in college football.
Ahead of the 2024 edition, players on both teams are already taking shots at one another via the press.
On Monday, freshman Auburn linebacker Demarcus Riddick had some confidently pointed words about star Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe.
"He is a good quarterback, he's fast but I mean he's not faster than me," Riddick told reporters. "He will not get out that [tackle] box this week."
Milroe had his opportunity to respond to Riddick's comments on Tuesday after practice.

"I don't even know who that is," Milroe jabbed back at Riddick. "Let him talk, it's a part of [the rivalry]."
Milroe, naturally, is confident in his and his teammates' abilities entering Saturday. Instead of engaging in the back-and-forth talk further, he immediately turned the focus back on their game plan.
"It's all about just executing what we need to do so we can be our best us this weekend," Milroe said.
The 8-3 Crimson Tide cannot participate in the SEC Championship Game but still have a very narrow path to the 12-team College Football Playoff.
Saturday's matchup with rival Auburn (5-6) is Alabama's last chance to impress the committee. The Tigers upset Texas A&M in Week 13 and will be playing for bowl eligibility.
