In Sunday's road game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson dropped his second touchdown pass right in the bucket.
Wilson dropped back on a 2nd-and-8 at Cincinnati's 23-yard line and tossed a high-arcing pass to second-year wide receiver Calvin Austin III. The score tied the game at 14-14 at the start of the second quarter.

Wilson — whom the Broncos released after he had an 11-19 starting record in two seasons with the club — has rebounded in Pittsburgh. Through his first five starts, he went 4-1 and completed 63.1 percent of his passes for seven TDs and two interceptions.
Wilson is on a one-year contract, and his future with the Steelers still seems unclear. In his Sunday column, CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones noted Pittsburgh doesn't negotiate contracts during the regular season.
Perhaps if Wilson helps the Steelers win their first AFC North title since 2020, that would convince them to re-sign him this offseason.
