Although Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is having a down year, he still has some of the best hands in the NFL.
In Sunday's road game against the Carolina Panthers, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield lofted a pass to Evans on a 2nd-and-goal during Tampa Bay's second drive.
Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn smothered Evans, but the five-time Pro Bowler snagged the ball with one hand, giving Tampa Bay a 7-0 lead.

Evans eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards each year in his first 10 seasons, but he may not reach that mark in 2024.
He averaged a career-low 50.4 receiving yards per game in his first eight games. If he maintains that pace, he will finish with 706 yards.
Evans injured his hamstring earlier this season, which likely explains his lack of productivity. Perhaps the touchdown catch indicates he will catch fire down the stretch.
The Buccaneers (5-6) could certainly use a late-season surge from Evans. They're in a competitive NFC South battle with the Atlanta Falcons (6-6).
