It has been a long way back for Detroit Lions wide receiver Tim Patrick, but the 2024 season has been a tremendous comeback year for him.
After missing the entire 2022 and 2023 seasons to different injuries, he got a chance to revive his career this season with the Lions and has taken full advantage of it.
On Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers he scored his first touchdown in an NFL game since the 2021 season when he hauled in a three-yard pass from Jared Goff on a 4th-and-goal play.

Patrick's career got off to a strong start with the Denver Broncos through his first four years in the NFL and had developed into a reliable option in their passing game.
But he missed the entirety of the 2022 season after tearing his ACL in training camp.
After working his way back from that injury, he suffered a torn Achilles almost one year to the day of his ACL injury and was again sidelined for the entire 2023 season.
The Broncos attempted to trade him this offseason, and when unable to find a trade partner ended up releasing him. He ended up signing with the Lions as a free agent.
He entered play on Thursday with 21 catches for 306 yards on 26 targets and has been a solid depth addition to one of the league's best offenses. Now he is able to get back onto the scoreboard.
