Minnesota's Justin Jefferson is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL, so it's surprising the Vikings star hasn't caught more touchdown passes this season.
Entering Sunday's home matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, Jefferson hadn't recorded a TD catch since a 31-29 loss to the Detroit Lions on Oct. 20.
Against the Falcons, Jefferson ended the cold spell with 2:01 left in the second quarter. On a 3rd-and-6 at Atlanta's 12-yard line, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold fired a high pass to Jefferson, and he secured the TD.

Aside from the TD drought, Jefferson has continued to show why he's a three-time Pro Bowler this season.
Through his first 12 games, he ranked 11th in the league in receptions (68), second in receiving yards (1,038) and tied for 16th in TD catches (five).
Still, the Vikings must keep finding Jefferson in the red zone. The 25-year-old could help them capitalize on more scoring opportunities. Through its first 12 games, Minnesota tied for 19th in red-zone percentage (53.5).
