Report: Joe Burrow's home burglarized while he was playing on 'MNF'

"Someone is trying to break in to the house right now," the call went per a recording obtained by Johnson. "My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should go outside."

The woman's daughter also called 9-1-1 and told them "someone broke in to my house ... It’s like completely messed up."

Police confirmed to Johnson that they responded to Burrow's home, stating an officer was stationed at the home.

WLWT also posted a photo of a boarded up window at the home that police said was part of the bedroom which was "ransacked."

Burrow is seemingly the latest victim in a string of home break-ins and robberies of high-profile athletes.

In November, Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had their homes burglarized in what police called a targeted incident.

Milwaukee Bucks star Bobby Portis also had his home broken in to in November with the incident caught on camera.

Authorities have not officially deemed the incidents to be related but the FBI is assisting in the hunt for suspects and clues.

The agency believes an international crime ring could be responsible for the string of robberies, per a report by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
