Miami Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose exited Sunday's road game against the Houston Texans on a stretcher.
On a 2nd-and-9 early in the third quarter, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw a pass intended for DuBose. On the play, he collided with Texans safety Calen Bullock, who was flagged for unnecessary roughness.
The medical team then tended to DuBose for 12 minutes, via CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan. During the CBS telecast, play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan said they removed his jersey and unscrewed the facemask on his helmet.
The team later announced DuBose was ruled out with a head injury. The Dolphins added he was in stable condition and heading to a local hospital for further evaluation.

DuBose — a former seventh-round pick out of Charlotte — was claimed by Miami after the Green Bay Packers waived him at the end of training camp. In his first two games with the club, he had one reception for 13 yards.
Multiple Dolphins have dealt with injuries throughout the season. In a Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Tagovailoa suffered a concussion and missed four games.
Miami WR Tyreek Hill recently told ESPN's Lisa Salters he injured his wrist in training camp, and his arrest before Week 1 worsened the injury (h/t CBS Sports' Shanna McCarriston). Hill told the media he considered undergoing season-ending surgery but is playing with it instead.
Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle also exited against Houston after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter.
