Watch: Bennett Stirtz's game-winner lifts Drake over Kansas State as Bulldogs stay undefeated

The Drake Bulldogs went into Tuesday as one of college basketball's last remaining unbeaten teams.

They remained undefeated after Bennett Stirtz hit a game-winner with 3.4 seconds remaining in overtime to propel the Bulldogs to 10-0 on the season.

The game-winner accounted for three of Stirtz's 22 points for the game and was the only three-pointer he made.

He averages 17.6 points per game and 6.1 assists — the latter is good for 18th in all of college basketball.

Mitch Mascari was the leading scorer for Drake with 25 points.

The win for Drake was its third over a Power Four team already this season. The Bulldogs have defeated Miami (80-69), Vanderbilt (81-70) and, now, Kansas State (73-70).

The Bulldogs will return home to host Green Bay in an extremely winnable game before hosting the 9-2 Belmont Bruins on Dec. 29.
