No. 10 Oklahoma women knock off No. 20 Michigan

In a battle of top 20 teams, the Oklahoma Sooners women defeated the Michigan Wolverines women, 72-62, in the second game of the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte.

The win for Oklahoma was its second of the year against a ranked opponent. The Sooners are now 10-1 on the season, with their lone loss coming to No. 9 Duke.

The loss for the Wolverines drops them to 9-2 on the year with both of those losses coming to ranked teams (No. 2 South Carolina and No. 10 Oklahoma)

Oklahoma finished with four players in double figures. Skylar Vann and Payton Verhulst scored 12 each. Lexy Keys contributed 11 points off of the bench and Sahara Williams was the fourth member in double figures with 10.

For Michigan, Mila Holloway led the way with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and five steals.

Jordan Hobbs (14 points) and Syla Swords (11 points) were double-digit scorers as well.

Michigan will go on the road to play at Akron before beginning Big Ten play with two straight games on the road against No. 7 USC and No. 1 UCLA.

Oklahoma gets two home games against Omaha and New Mexico State before opening SEC play against No. 6 Texas on Jan. 2.
