Liverpool had not won a Premier League match since Dec. 1, but you wouldn't know it from watching the team's recent form, especially in its 6-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Star forward Mohamed Salah has been a critical cog in Liverpool's season, with his efforts seeing the Reds top the Premier League and advance in several non-league tournaments.
On Sunday against Spurs, Salah became the first player in Premier League history to record double-digit goals (15) and assists (10) before the Christmas holiday.

His helper on teammate Dominik Szoboszlai's tally in the first half to put Liverpool up 3-1 was the final notch needed to achieve that feat.
Salah also put two goals into the Tottenham net, passing club legend Billy Liddell for fourth on Liverpool's all-time goal scorer list (229).

Salah leads the league in goals and assists.
He is chasing Premier League Hall of Famer Thierry Henry's record of 20 assists in a single season and is well on pace before the calendar year is up.
Liverpool is chasing its second Premier League title, the last coming in the 2019-20 season. Sunday's win kept the Reds four points clear of second-place Chelsea as they near the halfway point in the year.
