Trading for OG Anunoby was a can't-miss deal for the New York Knicks a year ago. Monday night against his old team, Anunoby could hardly miss.

Anunoby scored 29 points while shooting 13-of-15 from the field as the New York Knicks beat the Toronto Raptors 139-125. He went 4-of-6 from behind the three-point arc and didn't miss a single one of his nine two-pointers.
The Knicks sent RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to Toronto last December to get Anunoby, who is considered one of the league's finest three-and-D wing players. This season, he's having his best season as a scorer, averaging 17.1 points. And the Knicks are moving the ball efficiently, averaging 28 assists per game to rank ninth in the NBA. Last season, they were 29th.
Karl-Anthony Towns also scored 31 for the Knicks, adding seven assists. He was almost as unstoppable as Anunoby, shooting 11-of-15 from the floor before fouling out.
While the Raptors embraced a youth movement with the deal, Anunoby has been a tremendous addition to the Knicks so far, improving them on both sides of the ball without needing many shots. He might not blame his old team for trading him, but Anunoby certainly showed the Raptors what they lost Monday night.
