The 2025 NHL Draft looks promising, and the Montreal Canadiens could benefit from a high pick. Among the top prospects, Quebec forward Caleb Desnoyers is making waves.

According to Simon Boisvert, Desnoyers is the best Quebec talent in years and ranks in his top 5.

According to "The Snake," Desnoyers is one of the best Quebec prospects in recent years. He believes Desnoyers is one of the top players in the 2025 class and even ranks him ahead of Porter Martone.

Desnoyers is shining with the Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL. With 42 points, including 17 goals in just 26 games, he showcases a complete and aggressive game.

He excels in net-front traffic, boasts remarkable vision, a powerful shot, and impressive playmaking ability with precise passing.

Although he was overlooked by Team Canada at the World Juniors this year, his consistent performances should turn heads.

Boisvert believes the Memorial Cup tournament, which Moncton could reach, will be a great opportunity for Desnoyers to solidify his status as a rising star.

Indeed, this highly competitive championship is perfect for evaluating future talent.

For Montreal, who might have a pick around No. 6 overall if the lottery holds to current projections, Desnoyers would be a wise choice. With his versatile profile and adaptability, he could fill the Canadiens' needs while proudly representing Quebec.
