After dismantling SMU in its CFP first-round game, Penn State continued to roll on its opening drive of the Fiesta Bowl CFP quarterfinal against Boise State.
Following its decisive 38-10 home win over SMU that was kicked off by a pair of Nittany Lions defensive touchdowns, Penn State's offense came out firing against Boise State.
After Boise State missed a field goal to open the game, Penn State's offense took over and marched down the field. Drew Allar capped a nine-play, 72-yard touchdown drive by finding Tyler Warren for an 11-yard score.

Allar didn't waste any time, navigating the Nittany Lions down the field on a four-play, 58-yard drive that was capped off by a nifty 38-yard scoring toss to Omari Evans in the back of the end zone that lifted Penn State to a 14-0 lead.
