Texas jumped out to a 14-3 lead over Arizona State in the blink of an eye.
After a quick two-play scoring drive on the Longhorns' first possession, senior wide receiver Silas Bolden scored on a 75-yard punt return touchdown.

After fielding the punt at the Texas 25-yard line, Bolden made one defender miss before finding a seam in the middle of Arizona State's punt coverage and accelerating for the touchdown.
Bolden transferred to Texas in January 2024 after four seasons at Oregon State (2020-23).
He's had a minor role in the Longhorns offense, entering Wednesday's Peach Bowl with 22 receptions, 243 yards and two total touchdowns.
Arguably, Bolden's biggest play before his touchdown against Arizona State was another one that showcased his blistering speed.
Earlier this season against Oklahoma, Bolden also gave Texas a 14-3 lead after he sprinted downfield and recovered a loose ball following running back Quintrevion Wisner's fumble in the end zone.

Bolden has game-changing speed. He hasn't had as many opportunities to show it at Texas, but he makes the most of it when he does.
