Dillon Gabriel's NFL future seems uncertain, but the Oregon Ducks quarterback is undoubtedly one of the most productive players in FBS history.
On New Year's Day, Oregon faced Ohio State in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl. Early in the fourth quarter, Gabriel tossed a 27-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Traeshon Holden.
On the play, the Oregon star tied former Houston QB Case Keenum for the most TD passes (155) in FBS history. Entering the matchup, Gabriel had 153 TD passes in six seasons with UCF, Oklahoma and Oregon.

Despite his exceptional college career, Gabriel probably won't be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Scouts question his size (6-foot, 200 pounds) and arm strength.
"Gabriel's arm's not atrocious," wrote CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso. "By NFL standards, it'll be average on a good day and slightly below-average on a bad one."
If Gabriel can erase some of these concerns in the pre-draft process, a QB-needy team may be tempted to take a flier on the senior on day two or three of the draft. Some of his skills may translate in the NFL.
