Texas A&M trailed 39-30 at halftime and as much as 51-33 with 17 minutes remaining. Senior guard Zhuric Phelps had a career-high 34 points and knocked down six triples. This three-pointer from Phelps got the Aggies to within three with just over seven minutes to play.

Senior guard Brycen Goodine went off for the Sooners with a season-high 34 points. Goodine went 10-for-14 from the floor and 9-for-11 from behind the arc. The most points he had scored in a game this season prior to Wednesday night was 12 against Alcorn State on Dec. 7.
Oklahoma shot 54.3% overall and an incredible 14-for-24 from long-range. The difference in the game was the turnovers. Oklahoma gave the ball away 18 times to Texas A&M's nine, which led to 30 Aggies points off the turnovers. That cannot happen if you are the Sooners, especially at home in a loaded SEC.
After an undefeated start to SEC play, the road only gets tougher for Texas A&M (13-2, 2-0 SEC) with No. 5 Alabama coming to College Station on Saturday before a road trip to Lexington to take on No. 6 Kentucky on Tuesday.
The Sooners have now lost back-to-back conference games after a 13-0 start. Oklahoma (13-2, 0-2 SEC) will need to take better care of the ball as it continues its inaugural season in the SEC on the road against Georgia on Saturday.
