College Football Player Props: National Championship Projections for Ohio State vs. Notre Dame

Ohio State and Notre Dame are set to compete for a national title in Mercedez-Benz Stadium on Monday, Jan. 20.

With a full week before kickoff in Atlanta, player props will hit the market with furious activity. This piece will take a mathematical look at each passing, rushing and receiving contributor for the Buckeyes and Fighting Irish.

Our numbers take in the season-long data, with averages based on each individual’s game play. A small booster was applied to statistics accumulated through the Buckeyes’ and Irish’s three College Football Playoff games.

For instance, Notre Dame wide receiver Deion Colzie and Ohio State wide receiver Jelani Thurman were contributors throughout the season, but neither has seen a target in the playoff.
