Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner tied a career-high from behind the arc in the team's 111-100 win over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night.
Turner had 28 points and went 8-for-11 from deep in a dominant performance. His eight threes equaled his personal best that was set against the Boston Celtics in 2023.
The 10-year veteran's eighth three, assisted by guard Andrew Nembhard, gave the Pacers a 105-92 lead with 3:12 remaining.

Turner was a force under the basket as well, recording this block with 7:50 left that led to a dunk on the other end by point guard Tyrese Haliburton.

Perhaps the biggest turning point in the game occurred when forward Pascal Siakam hit this turnaround jumper to beat the shot clock to extend Indiana's lead to 109-100 with 1:37 remaining.

Turnovers (19) and poor three-point shooting (9-for-36) proved costly for the Pistons. Center Jalen Duren (17 points, 17 rebounds) posted his 14th double-double of the season despite the team's struggles.
This was a rare setback for the Pistons (21-20) as of late, who had won seven of their last nine. They remain home to host the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
The win keeps the Pacers (23-19) in the top six of the Eastern Conference and gives them five straight victories on the road. They head into a five-game homestand beginning with the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
This was Turner's fourth game with five or more threes this season. If he can stay locked in and continue to produce with the efficiency he showed on Thursday night, the Pacers should continue to put solid results together and build on their recent success.
